Paella, Paella
Zack's sister Melissa stayed in Chicago for a couple nights on her way home from Spain last week. Since Zack's parents had gotten me a paella dish from Spain in June and Melissa gave me a cookbook on paellas appropriately called Paella Paella, it was only natural to make a paella dish.
On Thursday night, we decided to make paella de pollo, calabacines y romero (paella with chicken, zucchini, and rosemary). Actually, Zack and Melissa decided that I should make paella when I came home from work. :P
It was decent but Zack and I thought it was a little bland. Like all paellas should, it formed a nice and toasty crust at the bottom of the pan for added flavor. Too bad that it was a little burnt.
