Crazy for oatmeal craisin cookies

Oatmeal raisin would have to be one of my all-time favorite cookies. Who can resist the chewy raisins combined with the wholesome flavor of oatmeal. I like my cookies crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. When I came across the recipe for oatmeal raisin from Simply Recipes, I knew I had to try it out. They turned out fabulously! Instead of using light brown sugar, I used dark brown sugar. I also replaced the raisins with dried cranberries. I think the tartness of the dried cranberries really complement the sweet oatmeal flavor. Delicious!
